Set Appearance for New Bots

Its really bugging me how I have little control over the new bots appearances. I want to hide nodes, color nodes, have the bot play animations when I want it too, and change the decal/faces to my exact likings WITHOUT needing to script a whole new bot that way.

Can anyone cross breed the Set Appearance mod with new bots?

The new system really takes a lot of the options away..

thats how i pulled off the work around to my bots outfits yo

but yeah, that set appearance event was so handy with the old bots

The only thing I can get that to do is change to a preset, or fiddle around with 4 text boxes that I dont know what to do with..

All I got that to do was copy my avatar.
Not helpful.

here's a trick

change your avatar to what you want it to be

clear the boxes and choose "custom"

the avatar changes to what you were wearing

you can change your avatar back and the bot will keep the avatar you gave it (because its now in those text boxes)

and play gesture plays animations

the only thing the play gesture really needs is a death animation

There is a death animation already.


Working with bots further I'm finding many mundane and uncomplicated actions rendered impossible with the new events.

I can't have bot actions through relays making constant action not possible unless I have it physically touch bricks.
It's also missing a bunch of animations, ones I need. I mean, turning the bots head to the left slightly? WHY is that needed?

EVERYTHING so far Ive wanted to do with bots, I have found not possible through the new bots.
How bout I ask for something different, "Can somebody fix the Old Bot Events?"
