Author Topic: saints row IV has been banned in australia  (Read 2648 times)

While I agree that some design decisions in The Third weren't very good, I still think it was a fun game.

It wasn't supposed to be a serious experience, it was goofy, and that's what made it fun.

Also, I hated pretty much all of the "bad guys" in the game. Yeah, sure, the guy who killed Gat was killed off pretty early, but I still hated Killbane and the Stag.

I just found the game very boring in general. Bland sounds and no kick from weapons. And the ai was crap and the fact that they fell on the ground as if they were just told to more then actually getting killed. It was more of a chore to play the game then anything. I prefer saints row 2 over the third because even though it wasnt as over the top as the third it was still way more fun and satisfying when you killed an enemy.

Well what do you expect when you kill somebody? Its like the same exact animation in every other game.

But they dont get thrown back by an explosion or shotgun. They have basically no reaction to bullets. If the game is over the top then the death animations should be as well. Play saints row 2 and then the third and then you will see what the difference is.

I played and love Sr2. Then, I played and loved Sr3.

I think Sr2 is better, honestly, but I also think Sr3 is far from bad.

Saints Row 4 is to Saints Row 3 like The Hangover 1 is to The Hangover 2

The same damn thing

honestly, I found SR3 extremely bland, vehicle physics felt so stiff, guns had nothing to them, the story was just trying too hard.  They tried to be too goofy and it just wasn't funny to me.

can't say i'm surprised. forgetin aussies. how does yahtzee do it

Not surprised. As they ban almost every M rated games.

They just got their equivalent of the M rating not too long ago, this is the first game to be refused classification since then.
