A class-based server where an admin controls the story and everybody levels up and stuff.

A card-based server where everybody makes their own classes on a card and defeats enemies that an admin/player makes.

Not to be dismissive, but that sounds really bad un-organized and people would be messing up left and right. That sounds more like a TDM than a role-play.

do something almost nobodies ever done before, such as tf2-based Payloads,
having 2 small teams vs 1 strong team, a tdm where everyone gets random weapons,
wario-ware, and probably others that I can't think of at the moment.

I think role plays are being mis-judged so much, it's not that role plays are bad, it's the people role playing it that are bad, any role play can be good and fun, but it's the cum-swallowing cunts that ruin for others to gain more exp on their ego.
