I think it's only fair I put my two cents in. There are always going to be Homoloveual people and since they are people too they will eventually get rights like should have had in the first place (At least I hope they get rights)  just because your holy book says no to that stuff doesn't mean you need to hate them. If they get married, it doesn't affect you or your life. This country was built on keeping Chruch and State separate so your book means jack in this situation. Just my two cents.

the whole point of the senate and the house having different election methods and different membership levels was to balance out the difference in representation of low-population and high-population states and to balance out urban and rural populations, but getting rid of mechanisms and making the senate more like the house only gears it towards majority rule

Except the senators are still voted in by a majority in the state, and they always have been, whether it was through the proxy of state elected legislators or not.

Someone give me 1 good objective reason not involving religion, to deny LGBT's ANY rights that the straight majority has. all people should get equal rights no matter what. That includes religion, personal opinion, and any form of majority/minority rules system.
