Uh how is the crew training different/better?

Do they teach the Abrams crews 'tactics' they used against Iraqi export version T-72s? Lol

EDIT: also, that depleted uranium NATO ammunition is terrible on the crew's health.
Do they teach the T-90 crew the 'tactics' they use against non-existent Chechen armor? Lol.

Besides, DU is an effective penetrator.

thanks for proving my point...

it isn't anything special compared to its counterpart and it gives you cancer yay

Crew are better trained on stuff Russian tanks than on no tanks.

Um no the Iraqi crews were pretty much just target practice.

It's no better than shooting at naked insurgents. Which the M1 Abrams also does on a weekly basis.

Still, the armor is better and so is the ammunition. Auto loaders actually decrease battlefield survivability.

You can blow it to pieces and it will still keep on rolling :D

Err did you not read the specs frontrox posted? t-90s armor is greatly superior..

It appears that the  stats Frntrox posted are skewered in favor of the T-90 because it does not take into account crew training/morale, NATO ammunition (which is superior to CIS ammunition), and it appears that Chobham armor is a ceramic air-spaced armor.

Also, why was the T-90 appliqué counted and the M1 Abrams appliqué not counted?
Not really sure how they could actually take that into account, but I see what you're saying. Like when the first jets came around, the Mig-18 was far more superior than the Sabre, but American pilots were trained better, and that gave them the edge they needed to slaughter Mig-18's.

Russian stuff degraded in innovation over the decades.

Only innovation in the recent past was the T80.

Specs are biased and just plain wrong lol.
whoa look at this guy

Jk I love you you bought me Ostfront

Russia builds stuff to last.

Except communism  :cookieMonster:

and you are like a walking encyclopedia, and everyone else besides you is wrong
It doesn't take a walking encyclopedia to see that that stuff is biased lol.

"hmmm, we should count the t90's ERT and not the Abrams! in addition, let's say they use steel and not composite!"

Love you too my little Commisar.

Once this reaches page NOW I'm switching to a different debate: M16/M4/HK416 vs. Kalashnikov 47/74/100 series.
