Author Topic: EA is better than valve.  (Read 3362 times)

Troll thread, but still, let's face it, Steam is stuff.  It's slow and generally bad.  As a service, it's pretty great, but as a program it sucks.  Source has also been pretty behind for a while, having only added cascaded shadow maps this past year.  Its art pipeline also sucks complete ass.

Valve isn't perfect, but they do make damn good games.  Let's hope Source 2 blows us away like Source 1 did, and let's hope when Source 2 comes soon, Valve also upgrades Steam.

What.

Valve nor EA give a stuff about what other fan-sites rate their games. In fact, one site could rate a game 999/999 and one site could rate the same exact game 0.00000000000000000000000001.

Seriously.

Steam is stuff.
steam may be stuff, but its still the best out there. i haven't found a single service which is better

steam isn't stuff at all lol
not only that, but it's also the best digital distribution system

Ok it's painfully obvious that the OP is lying.

The only problem with Steam is their random updates and maintenance. Yes, I know everything has that but Valve tends to do it quite a bit more.

VALVe is still the top dog in gaming though. And in game distribution.

VALVE is way better than EA, doesn't Steam have games like FIFFA and stuff?

Humble and GOG are really good services that you don't have to go through an application to use.  Of course Steam has the AAA support as it's also a DRM solution, but without a good software solution, Steam isn't the best option out there.  Look at Origin, they're actually getting pretty good.

EA is a loving money whore making stuff loads of DLC, Meanwhile Valve keeps their games in one piece, Not adding 20 loving extensions to one game so you can pay them.

My recent experience with EA went like this:
I bought a sims 3 disc some 2 years ago, so a week before i wanted to play Sims again.
Unfortunately i lost my serial key, so i was browsing the internet since EA custyomer support hasnt replied in 4 days.
I find that each Sims 3 disc has its own serial, so i open up the disk in winrar, do alot of searching, then i find a note file that is named key.
I open it up and the actual key is there but along with it on a new line is iamforgetyourmother
that line was formatted in a serial key form therefore had another word to it.
Well thats it
(3 years later EA hasnt replied with my serial, those lazy bitches, oh and Valves games are good, such as portal. They deserve good ratings)

>guys that are defending op for having an opinion
