spikes on the ground with invisible blocks above it as well as two spikes horizontal facing.
explain away all the vague hipster indie game design theories, the core issue here is that the majority of people aren't having fun with it
(if anyone wants to know how Momentum is doing- literally every major level is done, and all i need now is a kick-ass musician who can pull off original sonic-style music on the cheap. and by 'cheap', i mean 'free.'
have you triedhitting all the invisible blocks
How would I do that while there are spikes on the ground? D:

They probably don't have that "retro Sonic" sound you're looking for (as there is an overabundance of turrican samples), but they have a darker edge which makes them a bit more fitting with the dark momentum colors. If you like them I can make more (and make them better, hopefully), I have no idea how many levels are in Momentum (too lazy to play through and I'm bad at platformers) so I didn't want to make a bunch and find out there's like 5.
your game should explain itself .. you shouldn't have to write up paragraphs every time a person doesn't understand it. if everyone is saying they don't get it maybe you're doing something wrong.
Nvm I'm on the part that you mentioned, after noticing you could dash. Now I don't know what to do after I built a platform out of invis blocks
have you tried going left or righthave you tried going up
hey this is pretty neatcan we move away from actual retro sonic instruments, and just go for retro sonic themed songs
can we see a developer's playthrough a la daniel remar so we can know what to do and whatnot
