Author Topic: Sleeping in our car right now  (Read 2118 times)

Currently I am sleeping with my family in our car. We are doing this because our landlords are being little roostersluts. We are supposed to move out tomorrow morning but they called the police because they want the place to themselves for the night.

I feel you, had to sleep in a small camper for a week before because we didn't have a place.

Hope things get better for you.

oh wow what starfishs
can you guys get them in trouble for that?

They can't actually, if they hadn't paid their rent in time than the landlord can throw them out whenever.

Actually, we offered 40 bucks. The cop asked them if they would have taken it and they said no.

Once I get my license I'll do that all the time. I like getting out of the house.

The forums are so addicting that people post in their sleep!

I read that as "Sleeping in our cat right now"

>park at walmart
>sleep the night
>drive to different walmart
>continue cycle

They can, but it depends. If the rental agreement stated they had to give an eviction notice in advance, then they can't throw them out before that time is up. It's usually 30 or 60 days after being notified.
