Author Topic: Megashot - Take better screenshots  (Read 93230 times)

You'll see an obvious different in the window just to the right of the character on the image.

I'll use this for any Gallery posts I make, definitely.

It's supposed to take screenshots that have a bigger resolution than what you're currently running the game at

I will once more ask the question.

When I take a megashot that is, say x8, it ends up as a blank image file.

Help?

Did you wait for the DOF picture to finish being taken? Like it got to the point that after the screen shook for a while you could move around, and move the camera again?
If you exit before it finished it won't save the picture.

Also, maybe you just need to wait a few seconds for your computer to render the file?

EDIT: Wow, after all these years, I just realized to take a Megashot Screenshot, it doesn't have to be a DOF Shot.

I can't seem to tell the difference.

I didn't move. I actually left for like a long time, so I couldn't have interfered.

Okay come on now, this post is only a few posts above...

The screenshots are taken at a bigger resolution, and you can scale down the image with a good image editor to whatever size you want, and the image will be crisp. Take a look at the Blockhead's hand and fingers, or the brick lines. They aren't as jagged.

I had this when i put it on 16x too, but i already guessed that could be too much.
But still weird.

Anyhow, i gave it all the time it needed and it made an empty imagefile. :S
Trying on 8x now.

Anything larger than 4x doesn't seem to work.
