Nope, music in music, sounds in add ons.

A preview would be nice, upload them to youtube maybe. Where did you get them from?

Obnoxiously loud, and low quality.
They sound like they've been ripped from a game, and I doubt you made these yourself.

Loud is a problem that I am working on.
I can't really prove that I made them myself, but I did in fact make them.  I made some basic 8-bit sound files and edited the stuff out of them to the point where you couldn't define any similarities between the files.  Unfortunately, they ended up clipping.

I believe he made them.  In his spare time he makes music, correct?

i don't get it, are they supposed to be scary because of their low quality

You guys are all critics. Give him actual advice.

You want them to not be as loud? Stay away from mono. The purpose they are supposed to serve is enough that you dont need to have them in a mono form as they would be more useful if heard at the same volume wherever.
Take the files and put the same thing into audacity twice, one right channel, the other left channel.
Increase their rate to 96000.
Decrease the right one's speed 50%, and decrease the left one somewhere in the 40's. This will create a sort of 3D effect and is less low quality than if they both were slowed down 50%.

Increase the range of the sound by changing the script
description = AudioDefault3d;
This will make the sound have the same distance as an explosion. Pretty far.

You can try to look around for any programs that can reduce filesizes as the files you have there are extremely large, and users usually perfer downloads that contain items less than 1 mb because its...well, quick. 2 mb is hitting it far. Its not needed though.

-snip-
Thank you for that.  I will get to that right away.

What about panning the audio?  Yes or no?

Panning isnt needed but you can do that. Don't pan the left side onto the right or vice versa though.

Sounding good so far.  I will look at trying to get the file size down.  Hopefully, I can get it on RTB, though that seems unlikely.
