Munk's Server Pack - ABUSIVE?

Anything can be abusive in the wrong hands.
I myself use Munks Server Pack and none of my administrators have abused it. The most I do with it is fling someone because they are purposely blocking peoples vehicles even if they are asked not to.
We also use the mute command on people who capslock. The /kick is also useful because I can add a reason to the kick.

What I'm pretty much saying is that the mod isn't the issue, the administration is.

The pack was originally separate add-ons for Munks server, they were compiled and released into one. You don't have to play on the server that's using it, if a player is abusing it, it's his fault, sure it's abusive but you have to control yourself.

A command that has really no other purpose other than to be abused, 'for fun', is both the player's fault and the creator of the add-on.

Relying on people to control themselves and releasing an add-on to a community of generally younger players is just plain stupid.

Once again, its not the creators fault for the abusive use of something.
I suppose we should blame car companies for people getting ran over as well.

The feature has literally no purpose other than to allow for people to pull stuff like this. There is absolutely no legitimate usage.

There's no reason to play this whole "who do we blame more" game. The feature and the people that use it are both terrible. Odds are that everyone that ever uses the command will be doing stupid things similar to these cases.

The mod just gives them the opportunity to do something that they were previously incapable of but would have done if they knew how. In fact, it gives the opportunity to figure out who the idiots are.

the mod is still terrible in this case because it enables users to easily access this. the last sentence is completely irrelevant as well; you can assume it's the host unless there's eval, in which case you can tell from that. the only way that applies is if it's a silent eval mod, which is the worst idea i've ever heard for a server mod.
