Author Topic: games that weren't worth the money  (Read 8002 times)

I disagree with every single post in this topic. I don't have any games that I don't think were worth the money. Especially not oracle of ages, You're on my bad list.

(How can you call these bad? They're so good, And you have the 3 different animals that make the game progress in different ways!)

Pretty much everybody here is saying "I don't like this game therefore it's not worth the small price I paid for it considering how much time it took to be made" Hey guys, Research games before you buy them.

Any game for the Wii or Kinect.
Eh, only the games that overuse motion controls/have really bad motion controls. So far I've only seen 2 games on the kinect that are playable. Carnival Games: Monkey See Monkey Do and Fruit Ninja Kinect.

i think the mindset here is more "i don't feel like i got as much out of this game as i would personally expect for the price tag"

as for the 'worth' that's purely your view on what defines it (this can be applied for anything)

no
no
kill yourself please thanks

skyrim is boring and if I could get a refund I would lol

'tis only boring if you make it boring

Dishonored, even despite the fact that I got it for 30$

The characters are stiff as hell and the gameplay is mostly just a slightly awkward mix of elements from other games, and it makes me want to play Deus Ex: Human Revolution again. I gave up around 3/5 through it because it was so bland

Maybe if you guys stated what you think is a ok price for your time, Like $1 = 1 hour

Then I couldn't afford blockland

i don't think there's any kind of concrete ratio like that

'tis only boring if you make it boring
No, it's just boring

From Dust

I work so hard for all the money, Just to find out I don't have the right graphics card. I will spend the rest of my days in sorrow.

Goodnight, my sweet prince.

Of course there isn't, It's something you have to set for yourself.

Did I word this badly or something? "How many hours of gameplay do you think a dollar is worth?"

I wasted money on Crysis.
I've heard a lot of good things about it, and from the outside it looks pretty good.

But I didn't like the controls at all, nor much of the gameplay and I actually lost interest when playing it.
I hardly got anywhere in it, so I wasted the money I spent on it.

how has nobody mentioned Diablo 3

biggest waste of $60 ever
