Author Topic: My brother has a serious addiction to League  (Read 7382 times)

It's really based on the person. My brother is addicted to League but I can't even think about trying the game. Let alone Dota 2, but I might play it. Dota 2 sounds more promising since it's less mainstream. I could be wrong, but I'd rather play Dota 2 anyway.
She's not strict about video games, she could care less about what I play, even though I have no interest in either WoW or LoL. She's more strict about school and other things with me. For example if I get anything below a B+ on my report card she'll start to take away my computer/phone/etc, and I must practice either flute, piano, or guitar at least 30 minutes every day.

Dear loving Christ. I play my instruments on my own time. Except now that I'm not involved with my old school, I don't have access to a French Horn, Mellophone, percussion equipment, or anything anymore. All I have at home is my violin, piano, drums, and guitar. I usually play the piano the most (which is rare) because I'm saving up for a better drum set. I miss my marching band days 8(

But damn, strict about your report cards, eh?

I'm transferring to my third high school now because the past two blew loving rooster for me. The previous one was online, and so is my next one — except I have to drive to a building on Thursdays and Fridays to do the online schoolwork in a classroom for any off-chance that you may need help.

Anyway, I hope your brothers manage to fight the addiction someday and live an actual life. .-.

Are you implying that people don't like DOTA/League because they're bad at it?

:L

ahahaha, if that were true I'd have a much better time in either game.

if anything, people LOVE DotA/League because they're bad at it

If he's good he should get into mlg  :cookieMonster:

That's what he's trying to do. Lmao

From what I witness, he's pretty good at it but meh.

I guess it varies on the game. People would hate CoD MP if they're bad at it. So would I. lol

It's annoying to get spawn-killed over and over again. ;-;

well you can't exactly be bad at CoD MP, the "game" practically plays itself

True. 8)

I hate DOTA/MOBA communities because they are full of self richardheads who wont take the time to welcome new comers in and teach them how to play. Also how they get pissed if you leave a game for life interruptions or if your team sucks and you are stuck in a really slow game that is unwinnable the devs go ahead and put in a system that punishes you for leaving a game.

Also we Warcraft 3 vets will never forget how DOTA destroyed our precious multiplayer section. All those fun custom maps, forever buried by that that stupid lane game. Also the MOBA genre is killing my favorite genre, the RTS genre.

It's forgeted because some kid asked me if I was MLG.
I was playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

fixed
Yeah pretty much. I lack in RTS micro and macro skill.

More importantly though, who does he play as most often?

unplug the net everytime hes like 5 min into a game. the game greatly punishes peoples scores for bailing, he will forget his friends and they wont team with him eventually, and hes unable to rejoin new games till the last one ends anyways. so its all crazy funny

My parents would unplug his internet just so conveniently while he was in a game. He'd get so mad. lol

Unplug his internet. Avenge the RTS genre.

Ding.

Wish I could if it meant straightening his life out.
