Depends on the food. Light, fluffy foods (cake, yogurt, etc.) I'll use plastic. Heavy foods (pastas, etc.) And I'll use metal.

metal, appealing to the eye, easy to use, doesn't break when i'm eating, easy to clean, and doesn't take up much space.
