also pretty sure what op was originally talking about is still against the law. it doesnt matter whether you previously bought the game or not.

alright, one last thing, i've noticed that in one folder it says "1.01" and "1.0"
i want to go down to 1.0, so I guess that means that the .exe is both or do I delete the 1.01 one or..?

Only difference between 1.01 and 1.0 is that "Hot Coffee" was removed. It works perfectly fine with SAMP and MTA.

-nevermind-

thanks for the help guys, but one, incy wincy last question..
Do I have to move the gta-sa.exe (the original one) out of the steam folder for gta_sa.exe (the newly made one) to work?

but that says make, im assuming thats for like personal use? idk if that would go with dl an altered copy from an outside source.

OH stuff
Okay, topic change, but uh, I downloaded the SA:MP client from the SA-MP developer's mirror, scanned the installer and two of Virustotal's anti virus scans caught something;

However, Malwarebytes, nor other famous and good Anti-viruses have detected anything.

3 People say it's malicious, 25 others say it's good
i immediately deleted the installer .exe, i didn't run anything on it just to be on the safe side

SA:MP is dumb anyways.
Get Multi Theft Auto.

no

SAMP is perfectly safe, I've had it installed for almost two years now.

Hey, you should try Multi Theft Auto instead. It's more developed and is oftenly updated.

Finally a topic on this. Do we exchange steam names or something?
