I've decided I'm going with Xubuntu, as my USB is (mildly) old, 2.0, and it looks like it'd run well on older hardware.
Now here's the next step I'm having trouble with:
Setting up 2 different partitions.
I want one partition to be the OS, along with all the things I get (apps, games, etc.).
The second partition will be the root of the hard drive. The reason it's the root, is because some things I do require them to function on the root (AKA In The Groove 2 root folder).
Now, I have no idea how to partition, or if I need to at all, but this is something I'd like help on.
The second thing is that I need help installing it.
I've already "tried" 2 OSes, and it still had the disc that said for me to install it. I don't want to, I just want to keep it on my USB, without worrying about having to reinstall it onto my main computer.
The program I'm using to install it is
Universal USB Installer - 1.9.5.1. What are the correct settings I need to use, and will I need to change some things upon installation?
Anyways, that's all I need help with for now.
