Great work guys! I remember in 2008 when you were starting this project and I had gotten a little glimpse of it. It has definitely come a long way from when I first saw it, just keep at it and this might just be considered the greatest building project in Blockland history!

My best suggestion (And how I figured out how to do it) is to take a look at the pirate DM save that's default to Blockland.

That's basically how I figured it out, its sometimes trial an error when you're first starting out.

It's like 1000x smaller than titanic but the concept is still kinda there, it's just about gradual slope. Ships expand in all directions, width, height and length, just in different parts and areas. Also depending on what kinda ship you build, that also affects the slopes.
That and what TMAN said helps for your first ship or for when you're starting out. I wouldn't even remotely advise trying to build something as large as Titanic for a first though. My first boat was a little skipper sailboat type thing.
