Author Topic: Computer keeps crashing after i installed all the parts  (Read 3949 times)

Yep. I've got all my parts to my computer installed, and today its crashing. The first time was a BSOD and the other 4 times my pc just froze up. It might be because I had it on all night installing all my games, but that wouldnt really be the main issue, the parts are
AMD FX 4300
Cooler master 212 evo
8gb ddr3 1600mhz ram
1tb caviar blue
1tb caviar green
600 watt psu by thermal take
Windows 7
Some dvd writer
Note: after all these crashes, they were getting longer between like, after it crashed it stayed more stable after for a longer time than before. what issues could it be? Also on ipad sorry for bad spelling

usually the freezing is a graphical error. so if you have a video card, make sure it's getting enough power and make sure its in tight.

The pci e cable is in fine

did the video card come with an installation disk? if you haven't, you should install drivers for your parts.

uh your psu is too low. nvidia says that the gtx 560 requires a 520 watts. and the cpu is 95 watts. yeah, get a 650 or 700 watt

ignore what setro is saying but yeah it looks like your psu is the problem
i would get atleast 800

your computer needs more power than your psu can put out

it would start but components would stop working, thus the blue screens and freezing.
