Author Topic: Computer keeps crashing after i installed all the parts  (Read 3938 times)

Run Memtest86.
I did, no issues
I also ran a bunch of applications at once.

I also rendered a video in ae so I don't think ram is the problem, its more stable then before so idk

It worked on my other computer with the same psu, if it was over it wouldnt even start

Not exactly. It would start, but as it keeps going and the parts keep increasing their power demand, the PSU won't handle it and crash.

it wouldnt bluescreen like koopascooper said and freeze it would just shut off. My god

For the love of Christ, the PSU is not the problem. 600 watts could power an i7-4770k and a 780 for the love of god. Since it's most likely not your RAM , the only thing I can think of at this point is that you had a faulty OS install or that some of your drivers have not been updated properly. If it's really that bad I would first uninstall your drivers, re-install them and restart your computer. If that doesn't work then you may have to do another OS install.

The RAM is definitely faulty. Figure out which stick it is by using one at a time, then RMA if necessary.

its not I know that

I think I might've fixed the issue by swapping them and putting them back in order because I've not been getting any issues with games or anything since I got home at around 1 or 2 after the crashes it seemed to work. Should I get a refund on my CPU too and get a fx 6300?
I forgot to list

also on amazon do I have to pay to ship this back or will they ship me new sticks and I just ship them back what i need
heres what its saying on the policy

It depends if you want to change processors or not. Look at prices and benchmarks and see which one is more suitable for your needs.

they are both 120 and the processor is faster than the 4300, the only issue is I don't want to deal with re installing the heat sync again
EDIT: http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/295/AMD_FX-Series_FX-4300_vs_AMD_FX-Series_FX-6300.html
All I really do is render videos and run intensive games

Memtest86 tests RAM, but nothing is perfect.

Probably faulty drivers...?

It'd be nice if you showed us pictures of the bluescreen.

I already did that, there are no drivers for ram and the bluescreen log was posted earlyer in the topic

guys, you're not going to believe this. My computer has been running with no issues all day after I swapped the ram again, should I cancel the order or keep it going because its actually working now

Memory exceptions will still happen, mark my words. I was stuck with bad RAM for a year and something, you've described all the symptoms of it.

should I get a refund and get different ram maybe if there is better for the price *65 dollars on amazon?*

That's not my decision.
