Author Topic: I have writer's block (Rant warning)  (Read 1951 times)

Kinda refreshing to see an actual rant typed out instead of an angsty paragraph. Kudos to you OP.

Try writing something angry. It might help?

Oh thanks. I've tried to improve my ranting skills overtime from all the Facebook friends I've lost overtime. LOL

:3

I was thinking about writing something angry, but I don't feel angry. I can't write something unless I'm inspired by emotion. Work has run me so dry that I don't really feel much emotion. Maybe that's why I'm lacking any ideas. I can't really feel any emotion but exhaustion and responsibility (if that makes any sense).

or about dreams of cheese

I could do that. ;3

I have an almost 24/7 music creation block. I also suffer from "my riffs suck" syndrome.

I'm usually fine with drawn art. I will occasionally have a terrible block and anything I draw will suck. I don't dabble much in written work though. :\

I was recently writing a novel that was based on my childhood but with fictional characters and such, but then my hard drive died because I got a little mad on my poor FPS on Mafia II and I hit my laptop a little too hard.. :'D

I wasn't going to comment on his typo for the sake of not looking like an ass, but I guess somebody's gotta do it. lol

I don't know why either, man.

lol. It makes me cringe whenever I notice it.
I'm a writer as well, although I haven't been writing lately due to vacationing. I'll get back on it tomorrow. I tend to write fiction stories that are mainly fantasy-like (Such as Harry-Potter, etc.). Writer's block is terrible; it pains me to see myself at a point where I cannot come up with many ideas for my stories.

Hopefully you'll find time in your busy schedule to sit down and think. I tend to look at images/drawings that will help me come up with possible new ideas.

Music does that for me. It helps give my emotions a boost which allows me to think better. I had such a great idea for a book and I lost it. Haven't had motivation ever since. I'm hoping that when my computer comes back from repair, they'll at least have my hard drive restored or give me the hard drive itself so I can take it to a shop and extract data from it. :x

lol girls could care less about how good youre poetry is. just put in some stuff about how shes "beautiful like the late night stars" or some stuff and how she is "the light in your dark room". as long as she feels like its about her lol.

i would be an idiot not to agree with this lol

"poetry" nowadays is literally this:

"You are the X in my Y, [insert bullstuff about how she's as beautiful as Z], [even more bullstuff about how she's as beautiful as Z], please don't ever leave my side!!!"
