Who needs to beg when you can manage your money...

yay system shock 2 cards

i'm looking for a good adventure rpg-like, similar to castle crashers but a little more singleplayer oriented
i ask here because i'd like it to be in steam and for $9.99 or less, though i'm afraid i'm getting a little stingy.
if you have a non-steam game like so, i wouldn't mind that too much either.
rouge legacy looked good up until i searched up some gameplay, and it just doesn't seem like it flows smoothly enough combat-wise.

rogue legacy is more skill based. and also nothing like castle crashers. at all. castle crashers is just a beat-em-up where you mash a button to win (preferably the button that shoots the bow .. that stuff is so OP)

its hard to stop playing rogue legacy

the bow is like 20% damage of your regular melee attack and is 3x slower in fire rate, i never use it because it's too weak. idk.
yeah i guess a beat-em-up is what im looking for really

Friend's "recommendations":

"This is the first zombie game I've played where zombies are called "Shadows". Oh that's such a COOL name for zombehs.

The rest of this game isn't so much. :\ Think of it as the classic Prince of Persia..but with controls that are wonky and buggy, occassionally you die being hit by objects that aren't even touching you. Zombie combat is really buggy hit and miss, sometimes you clip through them, sometimes you don't. Certain advice the game throws at you are tricks to just kill you, hahaha, so its all Trial and error.

Oh and story...scripting...voice acting... is horribly bad. The ending was pathetic, makes you feel you wasted 2 hours trying to be a hero. (Its 2 hours long, including those countless trial and error deaths.) Once again, I can't stress on how bad and fake the voice acting is. Also some unfixed console port bugs, the most common not having any sound during cutscenes.

However what's nice bout Deadlight is the cool design, animation, color moods and art style. Other than that, you prolly shouldn't pay $15 for this 2 hour game. :\ "

Another one:

"Don't get this, this game is buggy and doesn't run very well. My FPS drop to the low tens in some parts for no reason. Also you have a chance to pause the game and then freeze it, espesially during sections of talking. And the platforming requires very high amounts of precesion while the game controls are very poor."

No.

is system shock 2 any good?

These people trying so hard to make a buck trading cards need to get a job. Minimum wage is 8 dollars an hour and is a lot easier than dealing with the average steam trader.
