Well then what's the point of voting for Skyrim when you know for certain that it will be a featured deal most likely at a better or the same discount as the CC deal?
no idea. hitman absolution was also community choice ... later, it became a daily deal.
roller coaster tycoon 3 platinum, the current community choice, was a daily deal 2 days ago.
dead island riptide was a potential community choice. but it has a summer card, so it will be a daily deal for sure.
antichamber was daily deal the first day of the sale. a few days later, it went as a candidate for community choice.
universe sandbox. was a daily deal. it then went on to win community choice later.
the system really doesn't make any sense. I have a feeling it's just a large pool of games and all sales are pulled randomly from it.
same with flash sales. don't starve is a flash sale right now .. it was a daily deal a few days ago.
the one thing we know for sure, is that every game with a summer card will be the spotlight of the daily deal at some point. this has been true for every daily deal spotlight so far.
