Author Topic: System that reduces bumping.  (Read 1564 times)

There should be a system, that goes somehow like this:

1.When you start a new topic, there`s option that lets you put time on it(in days).
2.If that topic won`t get any replies in set time,it automatically locks the topic.
3.Automatically locked topics can be unlocked by topic started.

I think that would stop noobies bumping old topics to almost nothing.

pretty good idea, but i think it all has to do with smf, so theyll have to add that feature

Why ?
Because:
  • Some threads deserve to be bumped without having the author unlock it
  • If someone bumps a thread with something like " :cookie:" Than you might as well just ban them
