Due to the commotion, I managed to swipe some simple gear (A backpack, a sweater, gloves and a balaclava.) from the market before fleeing back to my apartment to collect the last of my rations for the trip. After gearing up, I went back to the park to check for humvee tracks. If the Fireflies stole the humvees, then it's obvious they know the way out. As expected, I found tracks. A quick jog lead me straight to a gaping hole in the wall. Well, this was easier than expected. I continued to follow the tracks into the outskirts, hoping I wouldn't be jumped, mugged and murdered.

max is then jumped, mugged, and brutally murdered

max is found by patrolling soldiers and is jumped by them, stripped of his clothes and things, and brutally murdered.

i am then jumped and murdered twice.

uh jokey u cant just find the firefly base. theres a complicated path there that vehicle tracks wont lead you to, because they go on a few roads. also theres littlebirds and vehicles patrolling the outskirts now

I'm aware.

Double post.

"Augh... Lord take me now..." I mumble as I sit in the dirt to let ANOTHER patrolling vehicle pass. "I've lost the damn tracks... I'm out in the middle of nowhere... Those damn Fireflies can be anywhere!" I say to myself as I throw my arms into the air. "God damn those suckers are slippery..."

The commander takes his beer after the bartender pops the top off and slides it to him.  He walks outside, breathing in the fresh wilderness air and taking a swig from his bottle.  He sighed, and walked to his right, toward the row of motel rooms.  He walked all the way to the end, where there was a door marked with the Firefly insignia in black paint.  He opened it up and walked in.  He was relieved to finally be in his room again.  He took another swig from his bottle and set it down on a desk next to 3 other empty beer bottles, a large stack of paper, various pens, pencils, a calender, and other miscellaneous things one might find in a work space.  He began removing his armor, starting with the knee pads and elbow pads, etc., until there was nothing but his BDU left on.  He leaned toward the desk, and grabbed his beer, taking a sip and then setting it on the nightstand next to the bed.  He laid back, letting his head sink into the soft pillow, and shut his eyes.

There was a knock on the commander's door, and the commander got up.  He opened it, and was greeted by the radio operator.  He handed him a few sheets of paper, spoke with him briefly about them, and then was on his way.  The commander shut the door, and looked through the papers, nodding, and then setting them down.  He thought for a moment, and then picked up his beer, sipping from it.  He set it down, and began to change into civilian clothing.  He left his room quickly, heading to the bar.  He walked in quickly, and looked around, he then found who he was looking for.  "Lee, Slimmer, Foxe.  Change into your civilian clothes, and come with me," he said, and then walked outside into the courtyard.

Man, I wasn't finished with my drink, I thought. I knew not to say it though, as if I did the commander would have my ass. I set my beer down and go to my room. I change into my civvies, and I jog to the courtyard. "Here sir." I respond.
