To be fair I pretty much got to oberon on my own quite quickly with friends, but then I got one of those random login rewards 50% off coupons and bought a stuff ton of platinum. Then this is where I got the paris prime I'm about to implement as well as getting stuff for my friends.

stuff like this is the reason why whenever I see a steam friend start playing this game for the first time I talk them out of it and guide them to something else, and so far it's always worked once I show them how stuff these developers are.

The devs recently released a minor update, not even a 1.x update, but think more along the lines of a 1.x.x update. It included a new warframe, two new guns, multiple changes to level designs, many bugfixes, a new random event, a new system for alerting/stealth, and some new technology they can use. It seems that they are doing a pretty good job on their game. Even if that admin was in the wrong, one forum admin being a petty woman isn't worth not playing it.

Fun game, we should totally make a BL clan.

Why should you force your opinion on someone else.
Hell, it is not even a direct opinion on the game your friends are trying to play, but what you think of the developers.
Of course, you wouldn't want to motivate bad developers to do more of what they do wrong, but preaching against this game for the reasons you think these developers are bad is just straight up silly.
The fact that you really have to show your 'evidence' of how bad the developers are to succesfully guide them away from the game is already silly.
That means you just give them a waterfall of bad things while the developers have done good things too, but you just straight up hide that beneath everything you can find that they did wrong.
DE isn't perfect, but really, they aren't as bad as you make them look like from your ati-preaching.
Please stop anti-preaching because you are just forcing your opinion on everyone.
People might like the game and never really come in (much) contact with the devs and just really enjoy their time.

Why is this your issue? This is game you clearly don't like, care about, and discourage people from playing. So why are you in this topic? To deter the people who already play and enjoy this game? Your preaching falls on deaf ears. Your presence in this topic dedicated to the game you despise is not needed or for that matter wanted at all. Your experience with a certain someone, or in this case a group of people i guess, doesn't have to be the same for others.
People change, companies change and not everyone has the same sense of what is good or bad.
While you might think DE is bad for all it has done, there are a lot of people who might agree with you and a lot people who don't agree with that at all.

And well, in this scenario this wouldn't be a abusive relationship.
I would rather see it as a: "Would you let your friend use a product that came from someone with whom i had a bad/abusive relationship?"
Because really, that is really the situation here as far as i can see.

In that anology, no relationship is without it's flaws, and there are arguments and friction that are bound to occur, but you shouldn't stray from it merely because you only see in negativity.
