Oh my god I have had it with them. This entire story just happened a couple of minutes ago.
So about every time I logon to Youtube, the goddamn "Would you like to change Youtube" message comes up asking me to link to Google+ or not. I always say keep my current channel but I then see the option to change my name. I stupidly thought it would not link to Google+ or anything, so I entered in a new name. What do you know, my channel is now cleared. So, I attempt to change it back to the original and I think I did restore things. But, I wanted to remove Google+ because I was done with them. So, I go to the options to delete content. Now, I clicked on delete ONLY Google+ content. I then got worried that my channel would be erased, but there was a link to check if it was linked to my account. I checked it and it told me my channel WOULD NOT be affected. I delete my Google+ account, and what do you know. My videos, comments and subscriptions are gone.
