Good modern RTS game?

So as a kid I loved warcraft, rise of nations, red alert, the rest of the command and conquer series, age of empires, age of mythology, and games in that genre in general.
I haven't played one of these games in quite a while (with the exception of a bit of starcraft) and was wondering what the best recent RTS game was, in your opinions.

Wargame might interest you, it plays more like a table top game. I haven't any of RTS games coming out lately. I am waiting on Planetary Annihilation, hopefully it is good. There is Company of Heroes 2, no idea if it is good or not.

I really loved supreme commander 2 and I don't even like RTS games, my friend has over 200 hours in it
Other people said they liked the first one better than the second, so both SupComs are worth checking out

The first supcom servers got shut down, but Forged Alliance has Forged Alliance forever which brings multiplayer back.

I actually don't know if civ 5 is real time or not but its 50 percent off right now. I bought it.

civ 5 is turn-based, but it's still really fun. i'd recommend it.

Supreme Commander 2 is pretty fun. I haven't gotten into any of the newer C&C Games, Red Alert 2 would still be my favorite all-time.
