Author Topic: I can't wait to move out. (Rant warning)  (Read 12636 times)

I'm starting to ride my bike a little more. But there's not much to do around here besides go to work and sleep.
you should be THANKING your parents. the computer is nothing compared to having a hobby or being creative

seriously!

"doing something with life? you're insane"

what does "of a minority" even mean
that doesn't make sense
do you mean it's a small issue? because if so what the hell's the point of the op

The OP was a rant about the situation. It wasn't "I'M GONNA forgetIN' MOVE OUT FOR THIS ONE INCIDENT AH forget MY PARENTS I HATE THEM"

Jesus Christ, just because I said I can't wait to move out doesn't mean it's for this one situation. I just want to be more independent in life.

I used to be in the band program before I transferred schools if that counts. Now I've got nothing to do since I'm online-schooled. lmfao

Speaking of work, I have to go to bed because I've gotta get up at 10. Before I go, Ragna, you're acting like I don't know the "real world" and stuff. What makes you think I don't? I live in the financial world just like most adults would. I pay taxes, I work long hours and get paid money. I'm only sixteen and I'm doing all of this for my future. Are you calling me irresponsible? You're calling my mindset dumb when clearly you haven't received the message that I can hold my own just fine.

But anyway, I will continue this tomorrow. Sorry for my sudden departure. I don't want to feel like stuff at work tomorrow.

i'm seven years old and i have everything not only figured out, but i have reasons that aren't inane teenage whining
you are sixteen and doing everything wrong for the dumbest reasons

Use a sleep cycle calculator and you can get more bang for your Zs. I've made like $40 recently scavenging aluminum at the park near my house. hehe

(I started with scavenging glass, which is easier to find, but it is WAY less profitable.)

While I agree that 16 is an age where parent's don't have to baby their child on the internet anymore, it is their choice whether to allow you usage of it or not. As for your parent's not owning you- yes they do. You are theirs until the age of 18 or when they agree on legal emancipation. Anything that you own is theirs. Any money you make is theirs. If you buy a 3G usb card they can take it and you can't do anything about it(legally). Usually when a kid hits 18 their parents let them take anything that is "theirs" and jet. Good luck finding an apartment at 16. Advice- suck it up and live with them as long as you can saving money.

they probably crossed the line on this.

If you're actually seven, you should really stop posting. But I have a hard time believing that. You're posting about things you don't even understand. That's like if I were to try and post claiming that I understand what it's like to be in the military but I'm nowhere even close to understanding that because I haven't even been in it.

If I were doing everything wrong, I'd be sitting on my ass, not making a single dime, and playing video-games without making a single effort in school, work, or saving up for a car. If you're really seven, (which you're obviously lying because nobody your age that I have ever known has been able to use even the slightest bit of the English language with decent punctuation and grammar), you will understand one day. But really, I believe you're probably thirteen and trying to act tough on the internet.

So, either explain to me how you know these things or stop posting about it. People like you causing pointless drama in a simple topic are really obnoxious.

Probably Yola's fault for bringing the mood down in the thread. I guess it started to attract the negative users of the forums to the topic.

I wouldn't go as far to say that your parents earn everything that you make. My dad had to ask me for permission to lend him money once because he forgot to take some money out of his bank account and he has access to my bank account and a debit card that is connected to my bank. Yes, everything they have given me, they own. But everything I buy is mine and legally mine. If that's incorrect, I'd appreciate a source. Before I posted this, I tried looking for a source myself but couldn't find any. Yes, I have little rights as a minor, but the only thing they "own" about me are my legal rights. So, technically, they do, but morally, they don't, is the argument I'm trying to make. Now, I wouldn't be able to leave until I'm eighteen but that doesn't mean I can't start making money and purchasing my own things to replace the things that they own that I use so that I don't have to owe them anything, if you know what I mean.

I already have a job. Lol glad you saw. As soon as I turn eighteen, I plan on moving jobs to be a waiter at Cracker Barrel while I'm finishing up school and possibly thinking of attending a university with the scholarship I have. But there's another blocklander (who doesn't play anymore) that I plan on bunking with when I turn eighteen. I've known him for about four years now. c:
