After a long day out of being shot and doing silly missions i finally returned home to shower. Then i realized, the last place i had been shot was now stitched over. My bullet wounds had stitches. Like, exactly where i was shot.

It's part of the engine. When you have a certain car of a certain value, the game just spawns them around you. So if you lose yours you can use another.
