Man, figures it was partly due to some screwy stuff like this. 'Spose ill just uninstall GeForce experience, not like I use streaming.

I'm using amd what if I have some nvidia drivers (from a previous card) still in the pc but I'm not sure if they are running?

Type services.msc into your start bar and scroll down to NVIDIA stuff. If it exists and any are running then stop them and double click and set the dropdown box to disable.
Then install this http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html and wipe your Nvidia drivers.

Well it its one of the best screen recorders as it does only use a small small fraction of cpu power or what ever
