Author Topic: Nations at War - Closing Time!  (Read 239688 times)

The portion of the AC that was once Abdullahi, and never again will be, is put into quarantine.  Official transit only.  Violators shot on sight.

The tracking devices from stolen crates of weaponry (this precaution is taken for all shipments of military gear in the AC) give away a minor HQ of the Abdullahi Rebels.  After a quick airstrike and a brief firefight, almost 100 rebels are captured and brought away to an undisclosed location.

Members of the former Abdullahi's ruling party still living in the AC are brought into custody.  Any with known connections in the disputed region are relocated.

The AC is willing to negotiate, perhaps for the relocation of Abdullahi to the Americas, but the homeland will not be taken.  Even if a portion of the homeland must undergo a scorched earth purge, cutting off the foot to save the leg.

The AC calls on its allies to provide some support in this hour of crCIA.  I don't need you to break your backs, just to chip in if and where you can.

On public television, an obviously horribly tortured member of the Abdullahi Rebels, captured during the raid, is tried and sentenced to death.  His face is bruised and bloodied, and his uniform torn and stained.  He is set out in the public stocks for one day, where he is killed by the common people.

Polls show that over 97% of people in the AC feel that Abdullahi is foolish for attempting to break off violently from the AC, and of these, 80% believe that Abdullahi could easily have left peacefully, and of the 97%, 89% feel that all involved rebels, not just the leaders, should be executed.

With no recent acts of silly anti - TP occurring in Slevokxia, apologies are sent to the AC for casualties sustained during the war.

Slevokxia announces that it will remove it's right to invade foreign nations as a way to start wars.

With Anti - TP almost non - existent, Slevokxia begins two of her final Valkyrie Programs.
Program : Mjolnir
Program : Orion

Offers of trade from Vierte are accepted, with Slevokxia's industry Vierte can rebuild (in Denmark) quickly.
If Vierte accepts, left over Leopard 1s (and various other outdated weaponry) will be sent instead of being disposed of.

Apologies are sent to our, once ally, Yaslovakia.
We had hoped you would not continue to invade Vierte after persistent warnings.

The AC started it.  It knew what it was getting into.  The AC, if anyone, owes an apology.
With respect, the AC would like to have our nations construct embassies once this whole Abdullahi thing is crushed or moved to the Americas or the moon or wherever.

There is a rumor going around that a new constitution is being devised in a small town named Strombourge. Rumors are suddenly and quickly stifled by Mexicani Capital officials. In other news, we are working on a new form of energy called Sappho.

An e-mail is sent from a Belsnian IP address to a Confederate government address, expressing that the resistance leader wishes for the original land of the Abdullahian people be returned at once.

lol

I'm all for sending it for the east americas

the resistance leader wishes for the original land of the Abdullahian people be returned at once.
As mentioned, the AC would definitely prefer not to lose any land.  It will fully support Abdullahi in a transition to the Americas, perhaps to Canada or Greenland or whatever unclaimed coastline there is in the west.

If you wish to acquire your homeland by peaceful means, it will take some convincing arguments.  Initial terms for such an agreement would be as follows:
- Abdullahi pays reparations for goods lost, damaged, or stolen.
- Abdullahi makes reparations to the AC and any affected citizens for the violence performed by rebels during the violence.
- Abdullahi agrees to make no offensive actions against the AC ever.
- The leader of the Abdullahi rebels be subject to international justice on charges of conspiracy, masterminding murder, human rights abuses, destruction of government         property, theft of government property, armed rebellion, terrorism, piracy, and any further charges that should be found to apply.  The resulting verdict would doubtless     be guilty, likely ending in life imprisonment, possibly execution.

Your move.

Not Greenland. I'm gonna take it later

Well that defeats the purpose of leading Abdullahi now doesn't it Pleth

It could be argued that the best leaders wish for the good of the people.  But I believe in self interest first.

It could also be pointed out that the AC bought Africa not just with money, but with the blood, sweat, and tears of its brave soldiers.  First it took the land from the natives.  It was retaken by the joint Sheikdoms when the AC fractured.  Land so won is not to be freely given.

Wait, since my people also use cable TV, does that mean that they saw the footage too?

Belsnian military personnel say their goodbyes to their Yaslovakian comrades and begin packing up for a withdrawal from the German regions. Denmark is now under very close supervision by the East Belsnian Air Defense Command.

An emergency meeting is requested of all high command of the defense branches of all Tbilisi Pact governments to be held in Tbilisi. Defense Minister of Belsnia is en route as we speak.

Yaslovakian military personnel say their goodbyes to their Belsnian allies and begin settling civilians into the city after many repairs.

After a horrifying scene went on on many people's TV's in Yaslovakia, two teams are made similar to the police and SWAT, but they are mainly focused around ports and airports.

(Please note: this is not nuclear weaponry. These are just bombs.)

The mysterious Cericho Valley Processing Base has just exploded in newspapers all around the world as a very highpower explosive detonates at the test area (Area 23). The large explosion has resulted in radiation deaths of many sheep in the area, leading to the conclusion that this could be used for radiological war  (fun fact: this led me on a 20 minute rampage across wikipedia looking at military bases), aside from the very damaging effects of the bomb itself. The bomb is tested on a tiny town of mannequins and the damage is horrible. Twenty of the twenty two mannequins there "died". Area 23 has shut down due to a radioactive leak through the radioactive level testing system underneath the ground, which has the purpose of breaking and leading to an inevitable shutdown if radioactive levels are destructive enough to melt through the pipe (I don't know if this could actually ever happen.)

Area 36 has re-opened in hopes of development into a stealth bombing aircraft. Waves of rumors about an upcoming war have started, but it is unclear at this time if it will occur.

Meanwhile, Area 41b is now a tourist attraction after twenty sightings occurred of mysterious lights hovering above the airspace. A satellite image is leaked on to the internet:

And then another image is leaked of a mysterious aircraft landing.

(it is meant of course, to be in a desert, but couldn't find a better image)

um
yeah i'm just going to sit here and claim greenland
my people need room to expand
Viertan citizens wonder what the hell just happened on their televisions, as they only speak German, not whatever gibberish they heard (I'm well aware that it was Arabic). Parents are outraged, as many children saw this. Many are calling for more government control over television programming, as if that would help.
