UoU will continue up and settle the rest of northern Canada

Edit: Wrong, removed.

Map has been updated.  Ragin's prewar boundaries will continue to be on the map until the war's over, although advances into it are nonetheless in effect.

Due to Atsnia's falling out from the Pact and the military activity of Conservatia, the AC fortifies the Straits of Gibraltar and the surrounding territory, and further fortifies its border with Conservatia.  These fortifications are of a purely defensive/retaliatory nature and will not be used in aggression.

In New Zealand, many citizens can be seen gathering at their local city halls for an undisclosed reason.

Considering Super isn't posting, I'll just assume I'm still advancing into his land. On another note, Conservatia continues expanding into Alaskan land, with minor diplomats sent out in attempts to convince natives and city states there to join with the large country.

UoU builds a small wall to mark off their new territory on the edge of Alaska.  They will leave the rest to Conservatia and Yaslovakia (excluding the rest of Northern Canada, which we are already beginning to settle).

I do believe I already settled in Northern Canada.

I claimed it before you, mate.  Check the posts.

The newly-built docks of the newly-claimed Yaslovakia is built in an industrial area, concentrating around more advanced and complex U-Boats.

Claiming land doesn't stop someone from taking it, mind you. And claiming land and taking land isn't the same.

Pretty sure claiming means that you can wrest control of it before anyone else.

Claiming = implies the land wasn't already claimed
Taking = implies the land was already claimed

It's a formality between countries, there's nothing physically stopping people from conquering said land. I'd know, I introduced it.

My personal take on it.

My personal take on it.

I'm honestly not one to really play Earth, I've only done so once and I quickly lost interest in it afterwards. But claiming, for Nations at War and previous sessions, have used my version of claiming so far.

I kinda mean nation RPs in general.
