Author Topic: Nations at War - Closing Time!  (Read 239414 times)

The riots are over and will never happen again.  The people in East NZ have finally given up, and everybody was subdued.  There is still no religion in Plexia.

In other news, the moon rocket Plexia sent up was manned, and the man is alive and well up there.  The government announces it as a big surprise.

Erinaum, I hope I can maintain peace with you.  I know gunning down dissidents is looked down upon up North.  Erinaum is glad that the problem is resolved.  The side really doesn't matter, but human rights do.  Plexian passports are revalidated.  I was mainly trying to keep your people safe.

Finally, Plexia would like to invest in the internet as a whole.  Top scientists have already coined the term browser, as they are working on multiple ways to access both Synergen thing and GlobNet.

Would anyone like to ally themselves with Plexia?  I will finally release kiwis to the first nation to accept.

In other news, Erinaum accepts the GlobNet proposal of AC and would like to also join the Arab-Belsnian Space Program.

(Also, AC owns India, so I think we know who the winner of the internet race will be.  ;P)

Railways from AC reach 300 miles into Belsnia.

Does India have some strange resource useful in internet technologies?  No?

Keep in mind this is an alternate Earth meaning that although people in India on our earth develop internet tech, that does not mean your people will be great at developing internet technology because they just live in India.

I figured it was, but I did want to point it out in case anyone else misunderstood.

Also, India isn't necessarily the best programming resource, because often programmers can be called on to actually deal with people, or at least the well paid and important ones are, and having Indians who don't always know English perform that interaction can be troublesome.

The AC wishes to hold off on a merger for the moment, at least until the GlobNet becomes a fairly marketable product.  Then we'll see about a merger.  Work on GlobNet development is centralized to a city in India.

The question is, how well there be two separate internets?

Data from the GlobNet will be translated into (either machine or assembly language) with 0s for true and 1s for false, and Synergen can use 1s and 0s respectively.  That or GlobNet can use two entirely different undisclosed numbers for true and false.

This has the added benefit of being able to simply standardize what represents true and false should a merger ever become a reality, while still keeping the two systems hopelessly non-intermingleable in the meanwhile.

The AMH would like to use GlobNet. Can we be cut into the deal/buy stocks/use globnet?

Utah, I would be glad to sell kiwis to you for a ridiculously low price.  But only the fruits.
Erinaum, Belsnia, AC, everyone else, I am opening the sale of kiwis.

The man who went to the moon is prepping for re-entry into the atmosphere at any moment.

Big development in the internet.  The new browser, KiRep (short for Kiwi Republic), is well under way.  The lack of a fully functioning internet is a bit of a damper, but theoretically, it will work when the internet is publicly released.  We'll just have to wait and see.  GlobNet, I would like to share in development.  I hope to make KiRep usable for both GlobNet and Synergen.

Everyone uses globnet cause AC is huge and in charge of thread :/

We built the dang thing first.  AC is already the largest country, biggest space program, arguably the best military.  Can Utah not have anything?  :(

Edit:  yes Morningstar, we would love to purchase quite a few kiwis.  Out citizens are enthralled by the exotic taste.

Armored helicopters fly through the capital of Yaslovakia, delivering cargo to various stores, the precious cargo is considered great technology in Yaslovakia, the computer and the keyboard plus the mouse. The ones that have been produced only have about 230 MB in it, the only programs on the computer is a notepad, a calendar and a clock. Some are handed down to a company formed to do more research on these and somehow give them more uses. This company is called "Walls", since "Doors" sounded kinda funny.

Meanwhile, colored television has also came into place.

I have a suggestion about the AC and the internet.

The AC sells GlobNet to Synergen, they compile the data, and release an Alpha version of the internet.  Then, everyone who wants to can make progress on it, and Synergen still makes big profit.

The AC is not in charge of the thread.  I, Plethora, am.  I think I've been good about keeping my own interests separate from thread development.  You can still take over massive tracts of land and expand your influence as well.  The AC's space program isn't the best.  We only just put anything up there, haven't reached the moon, and really only have much of anything on that field because of the Tbilisi Pact.

But please, don't hesitate to attack or outdo me or call bull on my developments just because I'm host.  If I were to abuse my power, I fully assume that someone, Miko or Swat maybe, will create this thread V4, and I should hope so.

However, you do bring up a good point about the AC having just about all it could desire and some advantages.  Should the Triumvirate agree with at least a 2/3 majority, the merger will go through under the following condition:
- Each member nation of the Triumvirate receives 20% of the interweb stock minus any GlobNet stock already in the market which will be reimbursed to each holding nation from Triumvirate member nations evenly in Synergen stock.

Then the AC devotes development to the universal internet and everyone's happy.

Belsnia and Erinaum, do you favor this course of action?  One second will make it happen.

Lastly:  The AC offers a full alliance with Erinaum.  We practically are anyway, may as well make it official.

After a few months (I'm just gonna consider an hour to be a month since a day is a year), Walls creates an option for people to make their own little network that will be supported by internet towers that have been set up in numerous areas of the capital and it's outskirts.

EXCUS ME M8

Belsnia will support anything the AC does. The Tbilisi pact has improved our relationship to the point of blood brothers in Belsnia's eyes.

The Migs are seen 150 miles off the plexian coast before turning back.
