The Federal Emergency Management Association (literally FEMA) opens up in Nuuk and Reykjavik and begins setting up levees around the borders of major cities. 1800 people are reported dead of mysterious causes and the rainy season begins in Irrklaand.

Bulldozers and other construction vehicles can be seen around Yaslovakia's beaches, putting up cinderblocks and reinforcing them with bunches of dirt and sand in the back, the cinderblocks slowly begin to form walls around the middle of the beaches, there is one small opening but it mostly has rolled up sand and dirt, as well as some cement to keep it up, people are still allowed to enjoy their things at the beach.

The dirt and sand are kind-of like levees, but more steeper.

The National Weather Service of Irrklaand (NWSI) begins working on some research for a possible weather event in Irrklaand. Research is done into East Europe and West Europe, but none is found.

Belsnian emergency relief teams are formed from the Navy. The Naval relief ship Antoine prepares to set off in case the hurricane hits a major populated city.

If the hurricane is to strike soon, long buses, helicopters, and even ships if needed are given to CEDA, CEAA, and the Domestic Aid Corps.

Police also now have a role as making sure every civilian, pets, and anything that the family feels they want to take gets evacuated. They are trained how to quickly manuever with large police vans. Police trucks are given hood-like things that make them seem like vans that are bolted down and can only be removed by unbolting them.

If a hurricane is to strike, all the way from before the hurricane strikes to the end of the hurricane, civilians will be evacuated to Belsnia if they accept the request.


The request goes a second time to Belsnia that if the hurricane strikes then civilians and pets and their things can evacuate there since it may be better inland than around the water.

The Antoine is in the range of the hurricane and its catastrophic winds are supposed to be extra harmful to ports, so I'd get that thing on the water as soon as you can and only move it back for relief after the hurricane hits.

Anyways, the FEMA for Irrklaand realizes that the damage caused by the hurricane, which is now being aptly dubbed the Alexander after the leader of the country who originally discovered the hurricane, has cost Irrklaand over $18 million in debt. Which is truly unfortunate, given the fact that we're a small nation with no funds. Using only funds that were originally reserved for the problem with Peristika, the city, where there are problems with a burnt down neighborhood that cost us $20 million. So we paid for it.

Utah gets the news of this brave soldier who sacrificed his life to complete his mission, and we fly our flags at half mast.  General Heleman steps down as his guilt of orchestrating the secret mission where this man lost his life consumes him.  The government tries to assure him that this was likely to happen in a mission like this, but Heleman claims he still needs time to reassess psychologically.

Utah assumes this act of betrayal to their formal ally is a way of acknowledging the complete severing of ties between the two nations.  We still wish to remain peaceful with all, despite this one time act of war.  We blame it on financial desires of the exorbitant bounty placed on their heads, and try to play it off as us acting more as opportunists. 

Trade continues with all willing nations except Slevokxia, as tensions are still running high.

The AC is deeply grieved to hear of the deaths of the Slevokxian Premiers after the war ended (when Slevokxia surrendered Sinai).  (The AC only wanted Sinai, and put the bounties on the Premiers as a wartime tactic, the bounty was null after the war ended)  The Grand Sheikh, after returnign from his secure location and hearing about this tragedy experienced a night of fitful sleep followed by the great seep which must befall everyone eventually.  He aged 96.

His two eldest sons are currently maintaining joint control pending a decision on selection of the next Grand Sheikh by the Grand Council of the Arab Confederation (the oligarchy part of the AC government).

The death of the Grand Sheikh has caused some turmoil in the African lands of the AC as many desire their inclusion in the AC to end.

The eldest son currently maintains the AC's holdings from the Caspian Sea to the exit of the Persian Gulf, forming the Eastern Sheikhdom.  The second born (probably the one to ascend to the position of Grand Sheikh) governs Arabia, Turkey, Sinai, the AC's Mediterranean islands, and Madagascar, forming the Western Sheikdom.  Several districts in North Africa have come together to form the North African Union (NAU, An African version of the AC).  The governorship of South Africa is currently delegated to the late Grand Sheikh's nephew, who has "gone native" and formed the African Freedom Front (AFF), a group dedicated to bringing Africa under one government controlled democratically from within Africa.

The Eastern and Western Sheikdoms are working together to hold the AC together until a new Grand Sheikh is appointed.  The AFF dislikes the NAU and Western Sheikdom, but likes the Eastern Sheikdom.  The NAU dislikes the AFF and the Eastern Sheikdom, but remains neutral with the Western Sheikdom.

If you can't tell, this is an attempt to curb my own power, if the world deems it necessary.  The actions of you and your foreign nations will determine whether the AC has become too big, and what will result from that.  I will not lose anything in the Middle East or Sinai though.
