Who said my weapons couldn't be superior?
Logic.

We've a long standing industry for anything and everything.
We've an established logistics network.
We've almost unlimited resources since we have so much land.
And because of all this, we can do it all with less expense and greater efficiency.

Just throwing that out there.

Also, you've declared Tariff war by giving us an increased markup.  Fairly unwise since the Pact has a good chunk of the world's population and some dang large militaries (No, that's not a threat, I'm saying that jacking the price up for potentially big customers is a dumb business decision.).

The Gibraltar Chunnel is complete.  It has four one way rail lines going in each direction and a three lane highway going in either direction.  There is a final maintenance lane running down the middle.

The AC sends a message to Apex Industries.

not trying to be a richard but you misspelled channel

Channel + Tunnel = Chunnel

It's what they call the tunnel under the English Channel.  I just adapted it to the straights of Gibraltar.  (And speaking of that, we may choose to make a Chunnel between Great Britain and Normandy so that there are improved logistics to Great Britain, throwing it out there to you and Miko.)

The Abdullahian weapon designers and manufacturers worked in conjunction with Erinaumese weapons designers to create their own.  Erinaum is as well a member of TP, albeit a suspended one.

A majority of the external parts of the weapons use a reinforced ploymer material, making the weapons less expensive as well.  (Not major parts, just things like the pistol grip, stock, handguard, etc.)  They're also developed using the latest of weapons technology while most weapons need an updated version, if not some modernization.  You forget that we are on land that has been completely untapped as well, giving us a boost in resources considering Erinaum has supplied most of the essential resources in building cities.

Oh, I didn't know that, cool.

Anyways, I'm open to a GB-Normandy Chunnel if Miko is.

Sure.

Also most of the weapons you produce were invented by Belsnia blazer. Whoop whoop.

-snip-
I'm not saying that you'd be better off using pointy sticks than Abdullahian weaponry.  I'm saying that Abdullahian weapons are still part of a fledgling industry.  And despite being aided by Erinaum it seems unlikely that you would be able to produce weaponry superior to that of the most powerful nations on the planet given that your yet untapped resources need to be tapped through mines, logging, &c, which takes time to develop.  You need roads to transport these raw resources, you need refineries, mills, factories, &c to turn them into finished products.

Especially given that a lot of aid has come from Erinaum (meaning that you've either had to spend lots to get resources from afar and therefore encourage homeland industry, or that you've had to take the time to get all the resources yourself).  You're also in debt, so funding from the government toward weapons development is likely in part siphoned off to pay for debt.  Also, like the smart person he is, Swat wouldn't put his best into Abdullahi, he saves the best for himself.

By rights, Abdullahi just hasn't been around long enough to be both self sufficient and the best there is; development doesn't happen overnight (especially given that you took people from sunny North Africa and moved them over to wet and snowy Oregon).  That's where the path of logic has led me.

I agree with you on Abdullahi's weapon production, pleth.  They wouldn't be top tier.  I would likely give them the Erinamese standard issue and let Jim reverse engineer them which I don't normally allow, and is stupid for reasons that blazer knows.

Remember when I said Erinaum overhauled it's education systems?  Erinaum has invested a lot of money into universities and schooling.  Erinaum has had good engineering for some time now.  I don't see anyone else out there with railguns mounted on anything, let along sub-orbital strike planes with satellites that charge them.

Erinaum was lucky to be able to tap into TP's resources for so long, but now that we're separated, we're not obligated to trade or share technology, and it can be argued that since these were established safely in this period, they legally do not have to be shared.  I perceive that Erinaum still trades with TP, but I'm sure that we both reserve our best tech.  They also lost their international student discounts in Erinaum.

Erinaum also foresaw such a split and invested in Utah's clean automotive and energy engineering, which they gladly shared with us.  Since it was not a discovery by TP, I don't have to share that either.  I don't have to depend as much on oil from AC than I would if I hadn't invested.

TL;DR  I'm kind of questioning APEX's sudden dominance in arms production, when nations like TP, Mexica or UOU invest decades of time, money, efforts and top researchers into their research.

Also, I was wondering about the timescale.  Are agreements and suspension periods paused as the general time is paused?  Or is it just tech?

by most did you mean one?

Erinaum has one more year of suspension (1 day RL) until it can join back, if you so choose.

well your two (main I'm assuming) assault rifles would lead the weapon industry would they not? And those are AK-12 designs. "Kalishnikov" is a Belsnian owned company.

Erinaum begins to produce a new kind of grenade launcher, mainly for urban conflict.  It's name is the ZC-43.  It fires [REDACTED] that can be detonated remotely.  Note: we had the technology, but are just applying in to different uses.

Erinaum would like to rejoin, but if possible, would like to use the next year to improve relations.

ATSINA NEVER FORGIVES

THE FRENCH HOLD GRUDGES FOREVER

Just kidding, Erinaum helped us out before.

Yeah Atsina you guys are cool.  We don't need to worry about you.

Belsnian President Lopatov proposes a feast in Muscovgrad. All nations are invited.

Erinaum wishes to attend.
