it depends on if your current computer is old and outdated, what are the specs of your current computer?

the optical drive you can definitely reuse, idk about the ram.

Crap....Now to add another $15 Dollars to the build for a Cheap optical drive for cd's, Oh and the pc i have right now is windows 7, so i was just going to use the same disk for this computer and use it on the Custom pc

First of all, I'd suggest at least a DVD-+ROM drive, and you can't use the same copy of Windows on multiple Mother Boards, as the key for Vista and up is attached to the Mother Board.
