ugh i hate apple, overpriced, overrated, and they suck.

Some of the user friendliness features on a Mac a really nice, but Windows is definitely working on catching up.

oh wait
you weren't talking about this kind of apple

give their macs and such a virus
that'll shut em up about their non-virus-ness

"They are both computers, but I prefer Microsoft for gaming and Apple for phones / laptops. Microsoft / Android all the way for tablets"
your brothers are cool
this is basically my opinion, though i'm starting to lean towards androids for phones as well.

My mother : "Apple costs too much but still Steve Jobs was a good person and I'd rather stick with the basic technology"

I never really got to try out any new apple products, the only apple product I ever had was an old iPod from like 2008. No camera or anything. Then here's the funny, I forgot all about it for 3 years, until my dad found it. My mom apparently hates apple, because when I asked her if she could lend me her charger, first, she dropped it in the floor in the kitchen, cracking the screen. It wouldn't turn on anymore for some reason, and last time I checked it, it still had half battery life left. Next, she said that she had no iPod charger, even when i loving knew there was one in her room.

Oh well ;-;

I'm no Apple fanboy, but I do like the iPhone for various reasons.

On a Macbook pro, you really can't change anything in the guts. You can't really  change the graphics card or RAM, unless you want to go through a lot of trouble. However, on a new Dell /Toshiba laptop, you can pretty much upgrade most of it. Usually laptops aren't meant to be upgraded but yeah you know what I mean. You can.
w.a.t

I would just ignore them. Seriously, if you try to contest their blatant fanboying you'll just be feeding them. Buy what you want and if they argue against your decision, give them the facts, and most of all stay calm. If you don't stay calm, they win.

I'm a pretty big Android/PC fanboy. I don't own any apple products. I'd like to say I'm unbiased but when my CS teacher was talking about how he liked Apple more because Androids can get virii I was pretty angry. (he's a cool dude though) After some debating he agreed that Android/PC are more open than Apple products (because they are) and I was glad.

I love my iPod because I'm not able to have a smart phone and tablets or any kind don't work for me because they don't fit in my pocket so I can't use those whenever I need to look something up quickly

I love Apple, but I don't think that their products are the best out there, nor do I ignore the flaws that Apple has. I don't like Windows that much, but I have to deal with it if I want to play games.

I really like pc's for computers, but if i had to get a smart phone, i think i'd definitely go with the iphone.
I dunno man, it just appeals to me more

The OS and the computers itself is unified into one corporation. Also, you get a full UNIX command line on OS X 10.5 or up.

Macs are more for business, programming, or for the metallic, luxurious looks. When you buy a Mac, you get the rights to run OS X on that computer, and not on any other computer unless it's a Mac also.

The Mac Pro is a computer designed for resource-intensive computation, eco-friendliness, reliability, and more recently, compact size. (I'm not sure how much CPU/GPU load the cooling system can support, though.)

The Mac Mini is just a powerful nettop (compared to some of the other nettops out there) that's energy-efficient. Take it on-the-go along with a keyboard, mouse, and a small monitor, use it as a TV media center, or use it as an easy-to-set-up home server.

Don't use them for a game server or public service unless it's running Linux or Windows.
