I think the reason why is because people who blindly agree with the topic they're "/support"ing often don't have anything intelligent to say in the first place.

A post with nothing but "/support" in it shouldn't be allowed on these forums. It's annoying, and is as dismissive as saying "k"

/support isn't obnoxious or bad
It's expressing an opinion in a simple and easy way
the productivity of it is allowing other people to see that more than one person has a certain point of view without adding a clusterpoop of text to the topic

You know it would have been worth it to see badspot do a /support then have the rule enacted. Even if it was bullstuff, the joke would be worth it.

/support should not be a ban worthy action. If there is a drama topic, for example, about the questionable behavior of a server host and it is not a poll, people should be able to show their agreement and support without being lengthy.

K. is a completely different matter since it shows neither agreement nor disagreement and on the internet, it is usually used to show that you dont care. I believe that the people who posted before me were trying to tel you the exact same thing, but for some reason, it wont go through your thick skull.

Sorry for being late, but personally, I fail to see how "/support" is annoying in any way apart from the fact that it's considered lazy. And I don't see why one should get banned for simply agreeing with a topic. A pointless rule in my opinion.

No one needs to know that he read your thread and agrees to it. If he has nothing to add, he shouldn't post. It's just spam at this point.
