Author Topic: Steam Account Credentials have expired - Is this normal?  (Read 4276 times)

okay so I got back on my laptop and i was still on steam, and it said "Steam account credentials have expired. Please login to refresh/whatever" (It didn't really say whatever) so i did, I know it was most likely legitmate because it was the actual steam client and not some random window

Anyways, I logged in and now everything works fine, has anyone else gotten this before?

same thing happened to me on War of Roses. Check your drivers. Needed an update on mine and that fixed it.

Where would I find updates for my drivers? In the "Optional" area of Windows Updates? Sorry, it's just that I never updated my drivers on the laptop (yeah 2smart4u)

Do you have a nvdia or an amd graphic chipset?

so i finished installing Chivalry; MW, but of course, my crappy intel hd video card made it go slow

so then I turned everything to low and finished, it was still slow and jittery, so I turned down the resolution

then it happened

a bunch of random colors (mostly yellow and light blue) were at the top of the screen, i decided "ok that's strange, but maybe it's only on this res." so I turned it down lower, big mistake. It filled the entire screen with yellow and random colors, so I had to change it back to 1600 resolution

wtf happened there

if that's what you meant

bump

updated OP

Why can't I display results aaa

BUMP WITH NEW TOPIC & OP

also .. that means you were timed out. just log back in stop freaking out lol

oh

stuff..
sorry guys, like I said in the PC topic, at one time i'm a paranoid forget and the other i'm completely fine.

It's just that when I looked at the steam community topics, people are going "oh where did all my games go" or "dude you might have just got hacked call steam support n' stuff and do all this stuff to your account"

i get this whenever I'm logged in on my laptop + my PC, it's never inconvenienced me

pretty sure it's just a multiclienting countermeasure
