Please note: This story uses some theories in quantum physics as the basis for some of the plot. You can read it just fine without knowledge of the current theories, however, doing a little research on Wikipedia will definitely help you understand the plot.

This adventure uses Fallout's SPECIAL system, which you can learn about here.

All random chances will be evaluated using random.org.

Current characters:

Alexander Cherenkov, Male, cientist
SPECIAL: 5-5-5-4-8-6-7
Other Abilities: None yet known

Tyler Nikola, Male, Scientist
SPECIAL: 5-9-7-2-7-5-5
Other Abilities: None yet known

Inventory:

Mini Accelerator

You wake up in a tiled white room with various sparking machines and computers around you. There is a lot of broken glass and a few unconscious or dead people on the floor with bloody white coats on. You are wearing a similar bloody lab coat on. Having seemingly experienced short-term memory loss, you have no clue what was going on here.

Judging by the title it was some sort of Quantum Physics experiment but that would be breaking the 4th wall I suppose.

Check around for clipboards, files, working computers, etc. for details.

You find it difficult to get up because of your injuries and the broken glass, but you manage to stumble up and look for any data. It appears that all computers are completely broken and unusable. However, you do find page written in mediocre handwriting out of a notebook:
Page 3
Observations:
Test #1: Neutronium + Neutronium
Slight warping of light, several small objects in the vicinity shifted towards the reactor in what appears to be a gravitational pulse. 3 milliseconds after, using the high speed camera to measure, the unstable neutrons decayed quickly into ionic hydrogen plasma, electrical bolts, and a flash of light. Geiger counters detect substantial amounts of beta radiation.
Test #2: Neutronium + Hydrogen Ion
Successful fusion as the two materials became Helium. Large amounts of energy generated in the process, little radiation detected.
Test #3: Hydrogen Ion + Hydrogen Ion

The page ends with a splatter of ink without detailing the outcomes of the third test. You continue searching.

Footnote: Neutronium is a theoretical Element 0, composed of purely neutrons, and #1 was a mini neutron-star, #2 was a fusion reaction, and #3 was a#$I^WTPWK$%H

instead of making us look things up you can explain things in a tl;dr at the bottom of the post.

Please don't die on me thread D:
Stay with me man

Well obviously the experiment went awry when combining hydrogen ions.  Therefore this can be used to develop weapons.  Congratulations, your research is complete, you can grab your pay bonus as well as hazard pay and your weekly paycheck and go home and buy a corvette.

This can be assumed, but you still don't know what precisely happened or what dangerous effects still linger. You decide to stay in the lab until further knowledge is obtained.

You decide to inspect the machines lying around. One of them seems particularly interesting, with two magnets spinning around quickly and two places to insert materials. The machine is definitely not functioning, though. You decide to try and take it with you, and it seems much lighter than it should be.

ITEM ACQUIRED: MINI ACCELERATOR

You've never heard of such a thing in your life.

You've never heard of such a thing in your life.
space marauders, SWAT one and etc etc.

check out the other bodies and look for their ID. maybe their names will spark your memory

also, sounding a lot like HL1-esque

You check the IDs of the people in the room:
"Tyler Nikola - Quantum Mechanics Department"
"John Jepson - Quantum Mechanics Department"
Now that you think about it, you better check your own ID...
