I found a better alternative to Fraps. Mirillis Action!

Open Action then when the window appears, for "Recording mode: " Click the little controller, then go in game and press F9

desktop works but if I switch over to blockland it records a static frame andn ot the game

Yeah I don't know what is going on with Blockland.
I tried it and it didn't work, but works for other games.

You can't even put the game in 16x9 resolution. You can't record it at that resolution either.
