The Sims series and it's countless ammounts of expansion sets
Minecraft (it's boring now and it still bothers me how that game got a lot more players than Blockland)
All the Lego games that uses that same mechanics from the first Lego Star Wars (except Lego City Undercover)
Terraria
WOW
Call of Duty
Battlefield
Those stuffty facebook games
Roblox

This except Minecraft

Minecraft is good every once in a while.

Dota for it's rotten community that made trying to find something that wasn't dota in warcraft 3 miserable.

Fallout 3, the game was made to appeal the console crowd, cannon and lore is not consistent woith the old games, gameplay felt clunky, boring green and color pallet, the main quest was lame, the finally boss was a joke, also your actions were rendered meaningless with a very brief ending.

Minecraft, grossly overrated. Too many people over praising it and people like the Yogscast, UberHaxorNova make videos about it can cash off it. Gameplay gets dull rathering quickly for a sandbox after a few hours of play. Also the creator fails to credit Infiniminer. The game itself has some interesting stuff like physics, water physics, and atmosphere.

TF2, it was better before hats and weird weapons. The game was simple and it was about two companies that wanted to destroy each others assets. Now the game has devolved into hat collecting and weird items that made the game loose it's shine. It was fun for it's early days, but now Valve is beating the dead horse.

I really don't have any games that I downright hate. I do however, have a massive list of games I'm bored with. I'll list those instead :)

Minecraft
Counter Strike:GO
Dead Island
Empire and Rome Total War
Left 4 Dead
Skyrim
FO:NV
Hitman Blood Money
Just Cause 2
Mirror's Edge
RCT3
Metro 2033
SR3
Hotline Miami
Home
McPixel
Spore + All expansions
Terraria

And I wouldn't say Valve is beating a dead horse. Their game is still plenty popular, so it's far from dead. The game has only changed and become more complex. I don't recall TF2 being a very serious game anyway.

yeah that's really the only reason I can think of as to why someone wouldn't like tf2

which really makes no sense considering it's the benchmark of class-based fps genre + balance

I haven't played in a long time, but around the time I did stop playing it was incredibly imbalanced. Maybe that was around the time a bunch of people decided they didn't like it.

Its balance is never going to come close to its 2007 release, though. I believe that was the point where it was the most balanced.

i grew up in the next generation. it has set a high bar of standards that older games can usually not reach.

this is how I know you're full of stuff. Doom is a perfect representation of how to do EVERYTHING right. the weapons feel good, the music is great, level design is excellent, and the sheer amount of community created content is staggering. the only game to even come close in the past 20 years is probably Quake. the "next generation" standards of games, ESPECIALLY shooters, is so loving low it's not even funny.

You draw conclusions extremely quickly.
The reasons I consider the game bad are based off personal opinion. I think the game is poorly designed, and rather unbalanced. I don't like the sharp learning curve the game requires, and I overall don't feel the game is very organized.
I mean, I didn't know stating my opinion was so wrong, I'll withhold it more often.

Organization in a DotA-like game is based purely on team composition in terms of players AND characters, and I don't know how the hell you can even miss that when League isn't any different in that regard. Balance is a mixed bag, there's definitely some stupidly imba stuff in the game but that isn't to say League's balance is amazing. The learning curve makes the most sense out of everything you've said, DotA was never easy to get into.

Good points. You're correct when you say League's balance isn't amazing, but riot seems to take more action when a champion is quite obviously broken.

Again I'll state that I'm only throwing my opinions out there- as are you. It's not that I missed the fact that the team comp matters most, trust me on that point. I simply feel that certain characters in DoTA have much, much higher presence in the game than others. This, in my opinion, is less relevant in League, where every character can make a major difference.

most complaints in DotA's balancing are in regards to power creep - looking at the competitive scene, there's no doubt that certain heroes are picked more than others now in comparison to a few years ago (say, around the time of the first International).

though, there are strange picks in competitive games every now and then.

All of this.

I'm also not a fan of the Quake games (even the original). It just lost the magic or something, I didn't like it anymore.
Oh, and cubeworlds. I hate that stuff.
