I misunderstood that then. Still, I'm not entirely sure what you think Ephi is up to if he's deleting out posts. I mean, we don't really post and sensitive information here, do we? I mean, you can continue on you're little anti-ephi crusade or whatever, but it's getting old for the rest of us fast.

That is not correct at all.

Post counts get bumped down when a post is deleted. Unless Badspot modified SMF's source code to log deleted posts, they're gone forever and no one will ever know. I have tons of forum saves because I have no way of ever seeing the posts again. That's a huge conflict.

"Trusting" is not a safe way to ensure everything is going well. Ephialtes is a human being with his own needs and goals.

Deleted posts go into the trash.  I can see the trash because I am the forum administrator.  Kalphiter, there is no conspiracy or intrigue here.  You're a richard to Ephialtes basically all the time everywhere, so he deletes your posts.  You continue to do it despite the fact that I have warned you directly several times and you've been banned for it in the past.  Really, he shows remarkable restraint.

My mistake; I wasn't aware posts weren't immediately deleted. Perhaps we could see all my deleted posts and make judgement ourselves?

The problem is that, unlike immediately harmful posts involving research or shock images, many of these posts were only deleted because they personally offended Ephialtes. I've been specifically targeted; few of these standards ever applied to anyone else. Please tell me who else has had his posts so brutally removed en masse.

If I posted similar things, the posts would be immediately removed and I'd be immediately banned. Over and over I'm told that I'm inciting "drama" by posting really trivial things when it's only an excuse to censor me.

My hosting thread has been shat upon for a long time; I dealt with like everyone else did. Ephialtes soon had his own thread and decided to keep it "clean" (read: criticism-free) by removing posts he didn't like. Nothing in the RTB thread has ever reached the annoyance of anything in the Kaphost thread. He even said he wasn't going to "police" other threads because it wasn't his job. That says to me that his stuffty rules wouldn't work in other threads because they're malformed.

Lub acted like a jerk, his post was reported, he got banned.  I don't see the issue here.

Let's not forget that my posts talking about that image were also deleted without reason. That every post of mine he deleted should have been deleted is not necessarily true.

Like I said, it would be nice to see every post I've ever made here. That includes those from my original account as well. I am confident that I'm able to pull plenty of examples of unwarranted and unfair post deletion. Exposing all deleted posts is the only fair way to continue.
