Author Topic: Post your most grueling injury story V[2]  (Read 3493 times)

Mine was when I was at my parent's warehouse (we print tshirts)
And I decided to ride a chair like a bucking bronco
...
Lets say I "had a crash landing" and my groin hurt for hours after.

Or the time that I broke my wrist after slipping off of an icy 5 feet high log.

Post yours!

When i was a kid i was a cross the street at my neighbors house swiming. I really love animals, and i noticed thier dog under a chair. So i went under the chair too face to face with him and he bit me in the eye :D wasn't able to open it for like a week or something xD

does a throat ache count as a grueling injury because you can't eat without feeling bad

Slipped on a mossy piece of concrete, spun down a storm drain 30 feet before hitting a steel grate. Wasn't fun.

When I was younger, I was shoved backwards which caused me to bang the back of my head against the bars of a bed. Blood was practically dripping out of the back of my head.

Snapped my left arm in elementary school playing with the boys at recess.

i've broken the same ankle like four times (actually i think one, prolly the first, was just a bad sprain, but meh) and it basically just dangles now

never really got horrifying injuries but i guess this counts

i was walking my aunt's dog one time and he saw a cat, and chased after it. so i wanted to stop that and even though there was a button to restrain the dog on the leash, in the heat of the moment i didn't think of that so i grabbed the wire of the leash and as it rushed through my fingers it cut open at least 5 of them

i had to spend the next few days with thick bandages around my fingers so i could barely even do anything

Story #1
---------
When I was 4 I was sleeping and rolled off my bed onto a dismantled computer that my brother was working on. It cut me knee through the skin, Muscle, And bone. I had to grab a T-Shirt and rap it around my knee tight and had my dad drive me to the Hospital, They didn't knock me out or anything. They just laid me on a bed, Covered my leg so I didn't see it, And stitched it back up. It hurt so bad having someone stretch the skin on your knee and then stitching it together.

Story #2
---------
When I was 8 years old I was riding the handle bars of my brothers bike while he pedaled. We past a pitbull that escaped from his owner and he chased us down. Our bike eventually fell over and the pitbull ran away. I blacked out for about 10 minutes and my brother was freaking out like crazy because he thought I was dead. I ended up having to walk the bike home with my brother which was about 2 miles away. The side of my face after a few days was just a giant scab.

Story #3
---------
Last year I was playing football with my brother and my grandpa. My brother threw it to me so fast that when I put my hand up to grab it, It broke, Dislocated, And twisted the bone inside my pinkie all the way around. When it hit my hand I yelled "I THINK I JUST BROKE MY FINGER! I CAN'T MOVE IT!" My grandpa that it was just jammed and kept pulling on it making it worse. When I got to my doctor to have her fix it she didn't numb my finger or anything and just aggressively twisted the crap out of my finger and then putting a cast on it.

I stubbed my toe in my spice garden and cried for 30 minutes.

One time I slit my finger open with a cereal box.
Don't ask how but I did it. I had to wear bandages on both of my thumbs for a week.

My aunt's dog bit my eye when I was little, wasn't fun.

Broke my leg with a clothesline once.

One day I got off the bus on my way back home from my tennis class. It was raining and the class got canceled, so I pretty much just went straight home when I got there.

It was pouring quite hard.

Now there's this 20-30 degree street that I have to walk down to get from my drop-off point back to my apartment (we live on a hill, basically). The concrete was a sort of ridged, rough paving, supposedly to stop cars from slipping up when they drive up the street. I decided to run to stop myself from getting wet. I slipped.

I ended up with a gash on my right knee that hurt like a bitch, as well as scrapes to my other knee and palms of my hands. I fell at around 1/3 down the slope, so I had to walk the rest of the way, cross a street and walk back up the stairs to my apartment.

i was jumping on the bed when i was 4 and then slammed my head open on the corner of a table

Hit the back of my head on a sharp wooden corner of a furniture.
