Author Topic: im loving stupid  (Read 2841 times)

so i need to get a laptop for school, and i found a decent one within my price range. ordered it a few days later, and today i decided to look at reviews, and i found out how stuffty it actually is. I probably won't even be able to use it because it makes this beeping sound when the battery is low. Now im stuck with a $500 laptop and no way to return it without pissing my mom off.

i think your mom would be more pissed off that you wasted $500 on a stuffty computer

its not my money
my mom spent a month bending over backwards for the money for it and im grateful for that but i jumped the gun and bought a stuffty laptop

Just bite the bullet and return it. You'll get a refund and you can buy another laptop.

school starts in 13 days and the laptop doesn't get here until friday

Who told you it was "decent?"

Return it, who gives a stuff if your mommy will scream at you a bit, better to have that than waste $500 and be stuck with a deadbeat laptop.

my brother has one of these, they're annoying as hell

i highly doubt you absolutely need your laptop the first week of school, just use a school provided computer until your new one gets here. no biggie.

You can deny the package to get it returned with no extra charge, then create a refund ticket on whatever website you purchased it from.

there are none
my school assumes everyone  can all afford ~$500 worth of technology every year

So, let me get this straight, Your school just expects you to purchase a decent laptop for school, and then wants you to just toss it when the year is over?  :cookieMonster: Please re-read before you post next time.

But on topic, How much stuff would you be in if you were a few days behind on a computer? Not much I'd assume, and (most) Faculty in schools are pretty understanding, so you shouldn't have many problems...
