Author Topic: Biggest maps in video games?  (Read 6580 times)

Isn't Daggerfall like twice the size of Great Britain?

Great Britain is about 88,745 square miles. It's not even once the size.
Seeing as it was made in 1996 it's probably very barren and boring and super copypasted.

Apparently most of the terrain in Daggerfall was randomly generated.

How big do you think the GTA V map will be? I know they said enormous but compared to the others, how big?
Yeah it's already been partly revealed, the city itself is just a tiny bit smaller than GTA IV's map, that or equal.

i believe it was one of the OLD elder scroll games that had the largest literal landmass.

yes we're talking about that

FUEL wins for having the most boring repeated terrain ever

yar fuel map takes 30-60 mins to get to one end to the other

its hard to get around in jc2 compared to the games ive been playing with tiny maps

what about dragons dogma's

laughing at people who think liberty city is a big map.. lol, prolly san andreas, just cause 2, red dead.  good games too.

I didn't say you did say it was big kiddo.

Far Cry 3's map seems small compared to JC2's map. now.

Of course, LC is miniscule and so is even San Andreas. But it's still easier to get around than Daggerfall.
