ok so this is what i want somthin like this


[On active player weapon upgradde -5 points ]

then when the points are gone +5 points are added so next upgrade is 10 points and the upgrade event adds+2 damage to any weapon that the player haves


Can't change a weapon's without changing the datablock, which would affect everyone with the weapon rather than a single instance. Not very doable.

But what if a weapon adds damage based on client values, and basically the event would change those client values, not the weapon values?


Yeah but we would have to make a new weapon for this and would it just be a Gun or some smg or what really?

Actually, i have seen something interesting with the pistols in T+T (i think it was the pistols...) in which the accuracy gets changed if you move in the datablock.
This is done every time you shoot, so the chance that you actually influence someone else with your walk and shoot is practically impossible.

1. Start server with 64 dummy datablocks.
2. As clients join, assign a datablock to their gun.
3. Set the datablocks values to their upgrade values that were saved
4. As clients leave, recycle the datablocks for the new clients that join.
5. ???
6. Profit

This works and I had done this with a similar racing gamemode a long time ago.
