holy loving TANKS

Gosh, you caught me without my E-50. How embarrassing

Love it wen there's a fighter on my tail and I'm about to go down in flames but I get just one last bomb on those metal coffins below me.

This is not the world of warplanes/war thunder thread, please direct yourself elsewhere.

But I'm talking about how easily tanks are destroyed by planes so it's relevant

But that's not a tank :(

negative, it's a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun

tank  [tangk]  Show IPA
noun
3.
Military . an armored, self-propelled combat vehicle, armed with cannon and machine guns and moving on a caterpillar tread.

That vehicle is armored, self-propelled, is a vehicle designed for combat, it is armed with cannon and a hull machine gun, it also moves on tracks.
Tank

Actually in order for it to be a tank it has to be armored(or atleast have some armor, see amx-50 and leopard 1), it has to be able to take out other tanks, it has to support infantry, and most importantly they have to be able to break through enemy defenses.

In this case it is self propelled anti-aircraft gun. It's mobile, it was intended shoot down lowflying planes, and it is suppose to protect the advancing tanks from air attacks. Also it only carries 4 20mm autoguns which would only be able to break the tracks of a tank and kills infantry and light vehicles. The only reason tank chassis' were used was because of cross country mobility as well being able to keep up with the armor and it was the easiest platform at the time to mount an AA gun on.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wirbelwind

Does anyone look at look at their old replays and think what the forget they were doing?
Like I was looking at a replay from early 2012 and I hauled ass into the middle of redshire with a KV-1 and got riddled with holes in about 2 seconds.

i was going to grind for the M6 but that stuff takes too long so i'm just going to cap at tier 5s

I would've gone for the M4 then through that line until you can switch over to the T29. T1 Heavy sucks so hard compared to what it has to fight. The American t5 and 6 mediums are much better than the heavies in my opinion
