They do... And most of detroit will never be filled. Its suffered the same result as most other big cities do (Camden, Newark, etc), their main industry dies off and then half the city leaves. Those buildings are ghetto because no one has lived in them in god knows how long.

i dont see what they could do unless they put in some serious resources. its bullstuff because there are thousands of good and honest men women and children in that city but what makes you think americans will want to help a city that they think is just full of gangbangers and crooks? if 90% of the people there had grown up in a different enviroment they would have been just as good as the next guy but what can you do?
