Author Topic: How do YOU talk in real life?  (Read 3058 times)

I keep using the word "like" a lot

I say fur instead of for sometimes.

Instead of yeah, I say yea.
Instead of saying woah, I say whoa.

I say fur instead of for sometimes.
It's funny because - never mind...

Lol. I think I might make a slight title adjustment.

I say fur instead of for sometimes.
This.
I also mess up a lot of words.
Life = Laf
You = yah
Etc
On words that end with 'ing' (Being, Seeing, doing, etc. Not stuff like King, Sing,etc) I tend to leave out the g.

I guess I just speak as sophisticated as I can with my accent, I also sometimes feel like I leave a lot of pauses when I talk.
Like
You know
Sometimes I just get the feeling

That i like

Pause a lot

i try to talk exactly how i type (or possibly vice versa), up to and including using 'like' every other sentence

the biggest difference is that i don't pause as much as my text would imply (or more accurately i don't pause for as LONG as my text implies)

also my normal tone of voice is yelling and it sounds even louder because my voice seems to hit just the right pitch to reverberate wildly off walls n stuff

I have the exact opposite problem, my mom is always telling me to speak up. XD

i kind of adopt the way of speaking of whoever i'm with

if they're southern, i'm southern

if they're asian, i'm asian

if they're british, i'm british

you get the point

(especially with indian people)

on the internet I loving swear like a motherloving goddamn titty sailor

IRL I don't swear at all

I speak in a sort of low tone, and I swear sometimes.
